DSC_1002I think that in every girls' life prom is a very important date and I am no exception. I've been prepping for it for a while just so I could be absolutely sure that the cut, the pattern and the textile would be the absolute perfect one. Now, after actually buying the material, deciding on the shape and texture I'm still nervous. I think you can never be 100% sure on your decision. It's so much easier to buy an already made dress, because you can see the final product. With tailoring there's so many details that could go wrong, and no real option of taking everything back, unless you want to buy another material and start over. I won't reveal the actual material yet, but here are some pics I took at the shop. I find fabric stores very inspiring, and I'm actually preparing some surprises with some new materials! :)

Enjoy! xx

Royal Purple

Every year, each school offers scholarships to the achieving students. This year, I also got a merit scholarship  and I decided to spend it on something that I knew I would love ten years from now on. So back in January, when I went to Austria, I took a small trip to the Burberry store, just to enjoy a pretty sight and ka-ching! I was totally hooked on this beautiful purple jacket that was, fortunately, on sale. It was love at first sight and I couldn't wait for the weather to get better and to be able to wear it! A few weekends ago I took it out for its first spin, in the sunshine. And I've been wearing it ever since. Even though it's an elegant piece, it can easily be toned down with some sneakers and jeans. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this post! Don't forget to comment! xx

Inspiration #10

And here we are, at my tenth Inspiration post. I don't know why but this feels like such a milestone. I just hope you all have a wonderful week, filled with sun and happiness. At least this is what this outfit makes me think about.

Noises pt. II

These photos were taken a very long time ago but I didn't get to edit and post them until today. I was in a very rainy mood that day and although rain isn't the backdrop I usually choose for shooting, back then it just seemed right. I'm planning to sell the clutch in the pictures on Asos Marketplace, as soon as I get some spare moments to set everything up.
P.S. If any of you are interested, please send me a message!

The gorgeous place we shot these pictures at is the National History Museum in Bucharest. It's quite the architectural building and it's situated very close to the Old Town Centre, as well as the CEC Bank, a most stunning building that exudes Bucharest's old glory.
I was wearing:
Zara coat
Topshop skirt
Massimo Dutti  denim jacket
Asos boots
H&M hat
Karen Millen black turtleneck
old Tie Rack clutch

Remember the post from Monday morning? Well, I was so excited by that photo that I decided to go and shoot something similar right away. I don't know about the result, but I was really excited to go out and experiment a little with my camera. This is only a sneak peak, I've got a longer post coming for you during the next days!

Inspiration #9

When I saw this photo on Garance Dore's blog I was just mesmerized. I don't really know how or why but this picture just made me feel so inspired and light. It's got a certain vibe to it, a 'je ne sais quoi' , that just makes it look so carefree and relaxed.
