In connection to one of my previous posts, TECH, I just wanted to share with you an initiative I've been flirting with for a few months now. Taking into consideration the fact that I'll soon be on my own and that my shopping addiction will somehow have to be managed I think that the best solution is to start investing in timeless pieces, only the ones I'm sure I'll wear for more than a season. This also implies, of course, getting rid of those pieces that are rotting in the back of my wardrobe or simply lying there because I don't get to wear them anymore. After testing the ground and checking out different selling options: Ebay, Amazon and even local online shops I came across Asos Marketplace. Still, I'm a newbie so I don't know whether it's the best choice.
Have any of you guys used these or any other online shops to sell different things? If so, please do care to share with me, I'm in a bit of a dillema right here. Taking into consideration the ease of the transaction, how safe everything is and even the available selection of items and the demand which of these options do you think is the best? HELP!
Keep posted, there's a new interesting post coming soon!
These past months I've been all about basic, neutral outfits that would keep me warm and stylish at the same time. Honestly, I don't know how well I managed that because every day I end up wearing my puffer jacket and the longest, thickest scarf I own. However, these photos were my inspiration for these cold days. If only I could pull this off on a daily basis...
And last but not least, here is a gorgeous photo of even more gorgeous Alexandra Spencer from 4th and Bleeker. This picture just screams summer and, lately, that's all I've been craving.
You might be thinking "This girl only does inspiration posts! ", and I wouldn't blame you. With Fashion Week in full swing my eyes can't but shed a little tear for every great outfit I see. London Fashion Week is a particular favourite of mine, taking in consideration my obsession with everything British and the slight quirky attraction of mine for this city. (OK, I admit it! I love London).
When I saw this picture on Stockholm Streetstyle my first thought was: "I want it ALL". This is basically my perfect outfit. So effortless, like you just got out of bed and threw on whatever was at hand. Add some heels and you've got yourself some edge. Anyway, just bear with me this inspiration post. I promise I'll soon add some diversity. try to stop fixating on certain outfits while regularly checking Stockholm Streetstyle like I have OCD.
Bye, Cheers, Arrivederci, Bisous!
(in the spirit of the upcoming Fashion Week month)
Strangely enough, the first photo I post isn't from Sibiu. For those of you who don't know, Sibiu is a very beautiful city from my country, Romania. When we came came back from Austria we stopped by Sibiu to have lunch and we also took a stroll around the Town Centre.
The photos weren't edited at all, as I thought this beautiful town was worth seeing just as it is. Every time I go to Transilvania, the region in which Sibiu, as well as Brasov (another beautiful town which is a must see if you are ever in Romania) are situated I feel bewitched of how charming every single building, shop or square is. I hope you enjoy all these photos!
Sometimes I just forget how beautiful my country is. Back in January when I came back from Austria I had the luck to enjoy this gorgeous view. I caught both sunset and sunrise and I was mesmerized. I actually posted a photo on Instagram with the caption: "The most beautiful sunrise I've ever seen!". A few days later, however, I just had to take back my words because once I got home I saw an even more beautiful sunrise. From top to bottom:
Some of my favourite purchases over the years weren't either the most expensive or any of my designer items. I still wear a skirt I bought three years ago, in London, with only 3 pounds and I wouldn't trade my vintage shirts for anything else. Today I stopped by a small phone store which I hadn't even seen before with the thought of perusing through some cute accessories. However, most surprisingly I completely fell in love with this indigo case. Somehow the see-through stripes and this dark colour just stole my heart. I can't really describe it, it's just that I completely feel that I'd love to keep this case three years from now on.
This is actually one of my new resolutions. I love to have all kinds of clothes and to try all kinds of styles. But somehow I always turn to the things I love no matter what. So, I ultimately end up wearing some clothes even two days in a row while others just sit in my wardrobe unworn for years.
Right now I just have a feeling that this case isn't going to fade away for a long while.
