You know how when you really need some things they're nowhere to be found but when you give up they pop in front of you?
I've been looking for the perfect phone case for a while. It's been a long time since I could stick with one more than a few weeks and lately I've given up on them completely. As much as I love my phone the way God intended for us to have them winter is coming and why should I be the only one enjoying layering? So while watching one of essiebutton's Youtube videos I came across Casetagram. It was love at first sight. You can customize your case with your own photos, even ones on Instagram and Facebook or you can choose from their very large gallery. (and when I say very large I mean VERY large) I also think it's an affordable website. Most cases are between $34 and $39 and considering that you can customize you own, unique case, I think they're well worth the price.
The cases above are the ones I've chosen as my final six and I have to choose one to actually buy. What do you guys think? Would you buy any of these cases?

photo from Gary Pepper Girl
Although Christmas is right around the corner and I am excited about the pending winter holidays I still dream about summer, whenever and wherever. I am the girl of summer.

Bundled up in Paree

And here is the outfit I wore in Paris. It was really cold so I layered to death and I took out my down feather jacket to keep me extra warm. Luckily, I found this braided headband at Forever 21 a few weeks ago and it's perfect for keeping me warm and looking stylish at the same time! I also wore my leather pants as they are usually warmer than any other pair of jeans that I own. I quite liked this combination, it was very functional as you could take off as many layers depending on the surroundings but it was also really warm when outside.

The City of Lights

Last week was reading week and so we had a little bit of a break before starting Uni in full force again. I hadn't planned anything for the week, just writing my essays and finishing the coursework I had. But my mother surprised me and told me she'd got tickets for Paris for the next day. "I hope I'm not ruining any of your plans" she said. Yeah sure... let me check my planner. No, nothing, screw them. So I happily hopped on a plane to the city of lights! I've been to Paris around four times before but I've never managed to see the city properly. I either went to Disneyland or spent the days with my cousins who live about 45 minutes away from the city centre. However, as delightful as these activities might be, I've always had a regret of not being able to really see some of the most important touristic attractions, to spend some time wandering the tiny streets. And the regret still persists because I still couldn't see the Musee d'Orsay, as I arrived 15 minutes after closing hours. It sucked but, looking on the bright side of things, I could shoot these spectacular pictures. The sky that night is still stuck in my mind, it was one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. It was as if I had seen the world for the first time, honestly, I couldn't believe my eyes. Moreover, I've never tried to shoot at night, I was always kind of scared of it, but this attempt really showed me that there's nothing to be afraid of and that beautiful things can come of it.

New Adventures

As you're reading this post I'm probably on a plane on my way to Paris (probably not that hard to guess after the very explicit photo I posted). A couple of hours ago my mom called me and told me that we had tickets for Paris and that we would meet there. Talk about a surprise! I was a bit sad that I couldn't see my parents for reading week, seeing as they're home in Romania and I am in London so this is the best surprise they could have given me. I'm so excited to see Paris again in quite a long while and I have so many things I want to see! Also, get ready for some outfit posts because I am planning to come loaded with fresh new content!

See you back in London!

Let me introduce you to my newest obsession: tartan. I've been collecting quite a few items for the past couple of years and only yesterday when I introduced the new addition to my collection did I realize it.
What do you guys think of tartan? Is it something you'd go to this fall or do you think it's too cliche?

I've never been one for glitter nails or glitter anything for that matter. But one day I just decided to give it a go and put a topcoat of glitter on my ring finger. And I loved it! So I decided to go full-on and paint all my nails like that.

The colours I'm wearing are Chanel Blue Satin, which is my absolute favourite, it's a very dark navy and everyone believes it's black* and Topshop Ice Crush, which looks silver but has coloured specks in it as well.

And another plus to this combination is that, contrary to my beliefs, it wasn't a total pain in the ass to get off!! Ka-Ching!

What do you guys think about it? Are you a fan of glitter nails?

Taylor Swift - Everything Has Changed

Okay, I admit it. I'm a Taylor Swift fan and I stand by it. And this month's favourite song is Everything Has Changed.

I know it's late and I probably should've prepared a Halloween post before the actual celebration. However, Halloween is not a big thing in Romania and - before you all remain shocked by what I'm about to say - this year has been the first one that I've actually celebrated it.

I was planning on dressing up as the Cheshire Cat, make-up et al but my face just didn't get along with the face make-up I bought. So I had to take it all off and improvise something. And this is what I came up with.

What do you guys think? xx
